WOW!! " A New Client"

I would like to feature a new client by the name of Christel. OMG! just when I gave up HOPE for attracting AWESOME client's. She appeared to my surprise even though we never spoke on the phone, Christel had complete TRUST that I was the stylist to create a new look for her!


Christel found me on "You Tube" then she reviewed my website and emailed me her photo's of her hairline & styles that she would like to achieve.I replied back to her right away and gave her a FREE online consultation. Christel booked her appointment right away a whole month before her appointment.


Once she emailed her pictures I noticed she had alopecia, I  recommended the package #3 to create the hairstyle of the photo's she submitted. She also asked about keeping a 1 year commitment to restore and grow her hair back.The day of her appointment I gave her alot of information about how to reduce stress and restore her hair back to health. I also created a closure made with Indian Hair for her, Ms. Christel hair came out beautiful!!

WTF ( Why These Females)  forget to keep it real with themselves. Divastyleshair.com receives alot of attention online via the internet. All of that's great! However I'm running a business with all of the hit's, emails, toll free phone calls etc. My question is why act as if you are ready to take the next step when you clearly know you are not financially ready?

To a person like myself I never pressure or assume anyone's financials, I can say that I take pride in keeping my word, not wasting other people's time, and treating people as I would like to be treated. This topic has blown my mind over the past 2 years, seems like the art of window shopping got worst with the economy...Well this too shall pass, as I constantly work on re-inventing myself I have a few strategy's in the works to stop this madness for good with my new website coming soon!

My fellow "Diva's" I don't know about you..

but 2009 was no joke for me, and I would

have to admit that it was the worst year of

my career in the hair game! As I move forward

and look forward to 2010 being "My Time To Shine"

I can't help but to forgive and forget the events

that took place in 2009...

Well, they say GOD works in mysterious ways...I now fully
understand  that expression, but no matter what life lessons
and test of faith I endured in 2009 I can say for sure that
"I'm still standing" ,"I'm a survivor" and all "Glory to GOD"!




Often I've been tested in my life when it comes to my pride,
integrity,values etc. But not to this degree of stretching for
sure, in order to stay humble and focused on my higher self
I often watched dvd's of  T.D.Jakes, Creeflo Dollar, Joyce
Meyers, and The Secrets. If not for these tools to keep me
on the right track I can't say what would have happen...
A special thanks to Michael Beckwith who reached out to
me at my lowest point, and laid his hands on me in prayer
to surrender myself to GOD!!! WOW!! My best memory
of 2009 for sure!  Thank You!

 The start of 2009 was a sure sign of "DANGER COMING"
I did my very best despite the odds were against me...I helped
many clients this year, some lost their careers and jobs and
could no longer afford to pay for my services...I tried to take
on a second job to "Keep My Dream Alive" which ended before
I could even catch up with my financial setbacks due to sillyness.
Also did my very best to keep peace with a few women who took
advantage of my kindness. I was introduced to "You Tube"...Then,
I discovered how many salons and stylist are using my original name
spelling my name ALL KINDS of ways only for my dot com to be
first on the search engine simply because I'm the ORIGINAL!!!!!!




And with ALL of those life lessons learned, I realized one important
thing to do..."LOVE YOURSELF"!!!!!!!!!!!!! Which kicked off my
new slogan for my "BRAND NEW WEBSITE COMING SOON"!
"Be Original Love Yourself".....As, I approach my 25th anniversary
this coming year in the hair business, I have complete "FAITH" that
"GOD" has a HIGHER  LEVEL for me in 2010!!! Bye..bye.. 2009

Hello my fellow Diva's!!




I'm back! that's right getting ready to launch my brand new website any day now! I'm so excited to have a professional website done right! I started designing my own after I realized "I had to fake it til I make it". It was a real blessing however it's time for CHANGE!


Also I was introduced to "youtube" for just a few weeks by a 1st time client..That "youtube" ended without warning...GOD IS GOOD! I just realized tonight how to do my own "youtube" and was able to locate my uncles who passed away back in the day...One was a singer and the other was a break dancer, I was so proud of them to see , they were never forgotten and how talented of a family I come from watching them gave me "HOPE" to " Keep My Dream Alive" for sure..!

Sometimes in life you wonder why some  people may  disappoint you... it's no fun for sure, however if you are "WISE" you will soon realize the BLESSINGS GOD has set up for you! THANK YOU!
